Borrowed from Blue's Clues
Here's the mail
it never fails
it makes me want to wag my tail
when it comes I wanna wail
MAAAAIIIILLLL!!!
So here is the plan as of now. Monday I will drive with both of the girls to Austin at the butt crack of dawn. Seriously... we will get in the car to leave at like 5am. (I don't really do mornings so this is very early for me!) We will get to the Secretary of State's office before 8am when it opens. We will hopefully get out of there very quickly and head back. We will go straight to the Chinese Consulate's office not too far from where we live. However, here are the hours.... 9:00-11:30 am and 1:30-3:30 pm... SOOO I am not going to easily be able to get there before they close for lunch. I'll try but I don't know. We will probably just take a lunch break and wait till they re-open. When they do we will be waiting to be the first in line. We will plead for them to stamp our documents while we wait. They will hopefully tell us to come back in an hour or so and we will do so. We will then take the documents directly to FedEx. We will overnight our dossier to Stefani and Terri at CHI. They will receive the documents Tuesday morning. They are waiting to review and send it off ASAP. It will be sent to China, translated by a staff person who is in country at the moment and delivered to the government. WOOOHOOOO!
Then the next step will be to wait for LID- log in date. This means your paperwork has been logged in and is under official review. This can be 1-5 weeks I think. It seems 20 days is about average. I know better than to pray for MY timing. I am praying for God's perfect timing and for my heart to be ready to accept that timing. I would be so grateful if you would pray with me about that. After that we wait for LOA-Letter of Acceptance. We officially accept her as our baby and then we wait for TA- travel approval very soon after. It is still looking like May or June for picking her up. We will see what God has up His sleeve for our family.
WE ARE ALMOST THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much for caring and walking with us to bring home this beautiful girl.
HUGS! Angel
