How is Kaiya doing with her head ouchie? She is doing great. Poor little scarred baby. She is doing MUCH better. Thanks for the hints on how to work on muscle strength. We are going to do that. Today we went to the doctor so he could make sure she was healing up well. She is doing fine. Right after he checked her she tripped IN HIS OFFICE and hit her head again in the same SPOT! NO I AM NOT KIDDING! UGHHHH! He said she was fine though. If we can just keep her alive and well long enough for her to learn all this she will be just fine. :0)
How is Zoe doing about not being adopted when she was little like Kaiya? Zoe is much better now. I have been asking questions and testing her out on how she is feeling. She says she feels happy now. I asked her why and she said Kaiya has to learn WAY TOO MUCH. She can't even walk right or get off the couch by herself. She says she is glad she didn't have to learn all that. Hilarious... I just love kid logic. I told her it is just fine to feel sad about not being able to be little with us. I told her that sometimes I feel sad that I didn't get to know her when she was so little but that she also has things I would never trade. She remembers her birth mother, her biological grandfather and her grandmother, Guatemala and Spanish.... Those are gifts that she will always have that Kaiya will not have. She won't remember anything but us and English. I told her everything we do in life has good parts and hard parts. She agreed that she was very glad she could have all of those special memories.
How am I doing with the jet lag and new momma thing? I feel almost NORMAL TODAY!!!! WOOOHOOOO! It's been a slow progression. Every day I have felt a bit more normal. Today I actually took all three kids to the doctors office. Now Kaiya did bonk her head again but at least it was IN the hospital. LOL! Then I took them all to lunch at a Mexican food place we love. That's cause we have almost NO food in the house. ;0) Tonight Kaitlyn and I are going out with her best friend to celebrate their birthdays. They were born 20 hours apart. Then Zoe will meet us later for a movie. We are going to see Kung Fu Panda. Hopefully by next week I will be ready to get back into the Red Letters thing. Russ has been teasing me that my maternity leave is about to be up. HA! HA! HA! He has paternity leave Wed-Fri of next week. So that will be great.
